Poky honey is a prison theme honey and no it is not spelled wrong there are two different ways to spell poky or pokey. Played with the definition one being cramped room. Unimportant, but it's real raw honey in there. Lastly my design, my idea. Oh can't decide what i like better natural light or indoor?

So this was for a contest in celebration of Day of the Dead. I ended not entering because the contest required you to mail your design instead of an email, I feared it wouldn't make it on time or that it would get lost. I may enter this in other contests. Lastly, I have two more but I will leave those in my portfolio I don't want to put everything on the web.

So, this is a doodle for a competition of an existing company name and logo, I don't think I went far enough but i had fun:) and they did say doodle, but i have been trying to submit the file for two hours but with no success. Maybe it wasn't meant to be.

These t-shirt designs were for a contest and for class I have more but chose these for now. Concept wise I am happy used the word radio defined as frequency, those carrying sound messages. Any who I plan to have some made heard vista print has pretty good deals, excited to get them on real tees!!

About the magazine: The name is Jawbreaker volume one: so sweet and breaking some teeth. A fictitious indie culture magazine. The name came from an observation of a new found interest in indie music, art, and fashion. So like the candy it is as addicting. I am almost done with it. Lastly, everything visually I created in it I guess you can say I was art director, as for the articles in the mag they were not mine but the writers are given credit but I did change the titles to the articles.

These are labels for a new jean company. Don't know when it will launch. The concept is not my own but the clients. My research for this project was simple I asked friends and classmates, Who do you trust? some said god or some higher power, others pointed to a friend next to them, a parent, sibling, and the art director/professor said not my priest; too funny. Any who, a frequent answer was myself and in the end I used that because it reflects the truth in fashion, we make that decision of what to wear.

Update:

I was competing with other people and few months later found out that the main guy funding this project backed out of the deal so no jeans.

Poster for Japan and Contest, this is a much newer post this was done 2011, I just replaced it with something that is updated. The one on the right is updated, on the left i have their logo but i changed the color, so wasn't sure they would appreciate that. Also, description about this was to create a poster that is for alternative energy and in support those who are working to rebuild lives in Japan.
